NEARLY 200 entrants from as far as Whittlesea, Victoria, and Canberra, ACT travelled for the Wagga Wagga Open at Jubilee Park on the weekend.
There were 90 local athletes entered in the carnival, which is used as a litmus test in the lead up to the zone athletics carnival.
“Our kids feel as though they’re on track,” president Brent Hathaway said.
There were lots of records broken and personal bests set according to officials.
