A COOTAMUNDRA detective has been presented with a prestigious statewide policing award.
Detective Senior Constable Paul Clancy received the 2015 Rural Crime Investigation Award earlier this month as the rural crime investigator for the Cootamundra Local Area Command.
Detective Clancy led the investigation into two animal activists, who were charged with 22 offences relating to break and enters on Young piggeries and planting hidden video equipment in October.
