Saints Dragons showed why they are the team to beat in Wagga’s under 11 competition, with an emphatic win over Turvey Park Red.
Saints belted 36 runs to 13 with Lachlan Dicker and Egan Dougherty starring, while Skyla Oliver and Jasper Scarrone worked hard for Turvey Park.
Austin Gooden and Claire Heazlewood led Turvey Park Blue to a comfortable win over South Wagga Warriors, who were well served by Kailee Whyman and Mackenzie Smith.
In the final under 11 game, Blu-Js beat an undermanned Lake Albert 7-0.
In the under 13s, Saints Dragons exploded into action amid thunder and lightning, piling on seven unanswered runs against Turvey Park Blue with pitcher Bella Hofert impressive.
Saints Knights had a 9-5 win against the improving South Wagga Warriors while Turvey Park Red beat Lake Albert 14-0.
