2.02pm:
The Holbrook farmer whose Toyota Landcruiser was allegedly stolen by the Stoccos has said he does not want his ute back.
“God knows what’s been done with it,” he said.
2pm:
Police have confirmed Gino and Mark Stocco were arrested on a property near Dunedoo this morning.
The duo were arrested by way of “covert operation” involving officers from multiple local area commands. The air wing was also involved in the arrest.
No shots were fired and no one was injured during the arrest.
The men will be taken to Dubbo police station to be charged.
11.55am:
Police media reports the Stoccos have been captured at Dunedoo, 90 kilometres east of Dubbo.
The Stoccos have been on the run for almost a decade, but sparked a national manhunt after firing on police south of Wagga on October 16.
