Local police allege the 18-year-old man illegally killed more than 100 eastern grey kangaroos.
They say he entered properties north of Cootamundra on a number of occasions between June and October.
There, police say he would 'hunt' the kangaroos by running them down in his vehicle.
He will face court in relation to charges including animal cruelty, harm protected fauna and malicious damage following an investigation into the kangaroo deaths.
The man will appear at Cootamundra Local Court on December 7.
