POLICE have made public the name of a Urana man who died on Sunday night after the utility he was driving hit a tree near Boree Creek.
He was 45-year-old Glen Collier.
Wagga police said the Holden Rodeo Mr Collier was driving hit the tree at the intersection of Urana-Boree-Creek Road and Ormes Road some time after 11.15pm.
The crash was discovered by a passing motorist.
Police and paramedics arrived about 11.30pm, but Mr Collier died at the scene.
He was the only occupant of the vehicle.
