RESIDENTS of a street in Lloyd are seeing red after workers on Monday left large nails exposed when ripping up artificial turf to make way for a footpath.
It adds insult to injury for Barton Street residents, many who were unaware some of the turf they paid for would be removed for the footpath.
Furious parents claimed workers for the estate’s development company had left 10cm nails exposed. “It’s a deadset joke; they could go through a child’s foot,” Barton Street father of four Darren Clarke said.
