John Christian Stephenson's 1915 war diary

Came into No.1 Canadian Hospital (C2 Ward) today. Don’t think I will like this sort of life. The nurses talk broad Yankee. With me also came Yank Thomson an American out of the 5^th Bn. He is a good mate and full of life.
