Parrydise Spark is out to make it five wins in a row at Wagga’s greyhound racing meeting on Friday night.
The Wagga-trained dog has taken all before him in his last four starts but takes on the longer 525-metre journey for the first time in the Classicbet Stakes for grade four and five greyhounds.
He’s won his last two races at Temora for trainer Scott Parry following on from wins at Bulli and Wagga.
In fact the dog has only finished worse than fourth in one of his last 12 starts but he does have to contend with a box he’s never been placed from before.
Parrydise Spark has had two attempts to start from the two box from no success, with six of his eight wins coming from the widest two boxes.
He’s also up against two other last start winners, Sable Swag for Gai Derrick and Beau Lightning for Timothy Back.
The first of 10 races is at 7.35pm.
