ALBURY Racing Club has put free beer on offer to patrons on Saturday if one of their own performs admirably in group company at Caulfield.
Albury Racing Club has announced there will be free beer on course for an hour if the Brett Cavanough-trained The Monstar can finish in the first three in the group two Schillaci Stakes (1100m).
The Monstar will tackle top sprinter Lankan Rupee at weight for age, but is aided by the fact there is only six runners in the field.
The Monstar flashed home for second in the $90,000 Open Handicap (1100m) at Caulfield first-up.
Richard Bensley will ride The Monstar, and also Cavanough’s last-start winner Just A Bullet in the $100,000 Apache Cat Classic at Cranbourne on Sunday.
