A Wagga teen has spoken of her fright the night Sydney’s Central Station was evacuated due to fire.
Courtney Waugh, 16, was on her way to Wagga on Saturday when chaos broke out.
“It was really scary," she said.
"Especially when all the alarms started going off at once and we had to rush out."
Courtney was with her mother when she and 1000 other commuters were evacuated from the busy station.
The fire started in Hungry Jack’s, with its smoke quickly spreading throughout all four levels via the ventilation system.
