Thursday is set to herald the opening of the 151st Wagga Show at the Showground.
This year’s show, to be held on Thursday and Friday, will feature plenty of animals on exhibition, including horse events and the commercial cattle competition on its opening day. On Thursday evening the show will be officially opened, with the ceremony to be followed by the announcement of this year’s Wagga Showgirl.
As usual, there will be plenty of rides for the whole family to enjoy and a fireworks display each night.
Chiko Rolls, made world-famous by the Wagga Show when they debuted at the event in 1951, are sure to be available in abundant supply. Gates open at 9am each day and discount ride tickets are available at the Show Office or Mt Austin Post Office.
