IT MAY have taken time, but Matt Suckling has reached the 100-game milestone.
Suckling, 27, celebrated his 100th AFL game for Hawthorn with a semi-final win over Adelaide at the MCG last Friday night.
“It’s something I’m pretty proud of and once I’m finished my career it will be good to look back on,” Suckling said.
“It took a while, there were some pretty scratchy years in there, then doing my knee, but to get my name on my locker, next to my mates, is pretty special.”
Suckling is out of contract at the season’s end and is undecided on his future.
“My focus is on making it to the grand final and once the dust settles I’ll make a decision once the emotion is out of it,” he said.
