Boat Club commodore Mick Henderson
THE financially-crippled Wagga Boat Club has received a new boat ramp, thanks to Mainbrace Construction.
The company, currently heading the Marketplace redevelopment, donated 10 cubic metres of concrete to refurbish the boat ramp, after low water levels forced it to be lengthened. Boat Club commodore Mick Henderson thanked Mainbrace for its contribution.
“It means the ramp will be serviceable for the next 20 years and it’s come just at the right time for boating season,” he said.
