A PLETHORA of agricultural careers are on the table for school students.
Ag Inspirations 2015 aims to raise the aspirations of students who are considering a tertiary career in agriculture

Wagga students will have an opportunity to participate in the upcoming Ag Inspirations event.
Ag Inspirations chairman and Kooringal High School agriculture teacher Steve Reynolds said the event was organised by teachers and industry representatives. The Riverina Local Land Services (LLS) funding had also helped to sure up the event along with support from NSW Farmers, the Wagga branch.
“Ag Inspirations 2015 aims to raise the aspirations of students who are considering a tertiary career in agriculture,” Mr Reynolds said.
The event gives students in Years 9 to 11 the opportunity to gain insight into six different sectors of the agriculture industry. The sectors include dairy, sheep and wool, beef, agribusiness, biodiversity, animal welfare and grain.
“Students will engage with the different sectors through a number of agricultural-based activities, guest speakers and industry tours.”
Ag Inspirations is runs over four days in October and the induction day is October 9. The last day of the program is October 23.
