Coaches have a say
PLAYER of the Year votes have been cast and winners will be announced at the Football Wagga gala presentation on Friday night.
“We have very clear winners in each division,” Football Wagga president Erwin Budde said.
Football Wagga had intended to rely solely on the referees’ nominations however administration problems caused them to call on clubs for a more resolute decision.
Each club registered casts a vote and the winning player from the combined referees’ ‘3,2,1’ nominations also counts as one vote.
Dual registered Wanderers players are eligible for the award.
Players who received infringements throughout the season are also eligible.
