THE city’s blokes are being urged to support prostate cancer and roll up to next week’s Biggest Ever Blokes Lunch.
Two sports auction items being offered at the event were unveiled yesterday, including an autographed bat signed by the NSW Sheffield Shield squad, including Michael Clarke, Steve Smith, Brad Haddin, Nathan Lyon and David Warner. A framed Country rugby league jersey signed by the players who beat City in the match at Wagga this season is also up for auction.
The lunch will be held at Wagga RSL on Friday, September 4.
Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network and South Wagga Apex are sponsors of the event. Tables of 10 and 12 at $100 per head can be booked at the Commercial Club booking office before September 2.
