The Rock-Yerong Creek coach Dave Pieper has warned his players they won’t get away with as many errors against East Wagga-Kooringal next week.
“Our skills were very ordinary for two-and-a-half quarters today,” Pieper said following the 41-point win over North Wagga.
“But to the boys' credit, they just kept chipping away and run away in that last quarter.
“Getting it out of the middle the way we did in that last quarter was the difference.”
Pieper said it was a rounded performance against the Saints.
“Our back six have been solid all year, they've been our rock, and our forward line are just starting to click.
“Justin Driscoll was fantastic with his presenting.”
