Tumut coach Tim Graham labelled his team’s first half performance as one of the worst he’s been apart of.
The Bulls had no answers to power of Leeton early and trailed 38-0 at half-time before restoring some pride in the second half.
“I can’t explain that first half,” Graham said. “It was the worst half of football we’ve played in a long time.
“We didn’t make any tackles, there was no commitment there and it was embarrassing really.”
However Graham was happier with the team after outscoring the Phantoms 24-10 in the second half.
“It was a big lead and we were always going to struggle to drag it in so all I asked was for a bit of pride and to win the second half and that’s what we managed to do.”
