Could your dog be the next Al Pooch-ino or Bark Wahlberg?
The Civic Theatre is casting the final two roles for the upcoming stage production of Legally Blonde – the roles of Elle’s dog Bruiser and Paulette’s dog Rufus.
They may not get their own dressing room but they are guaranteed to receive star treatment.
Doggy divas need not apply.
Organisers are looking for a short-haired Chihuahua or Chihuahua cross to play Bruiser and an English Bulldog to play Rufus.
Actress and singer Jade O’Halloran is playing the role of Paulette and is looking forward to meeting her four-legged co-star.
“I’m so excited to work with real dogs,” she said.
Dogs will ideally be well trained and comfortable on stage.
The chosen dogs will work with animal trainers and cast members.
As the dog’s owner, you will be required to spend time backstage to keep the dog comfortable and company.
