Students from the Riverina were thrilled to travel to the Sydney Opera House to be part of the Festival of Instrumental Music.
Many of the students were able to see a live orchestra for the first time before the performance.
Students performed in an ensemble of 700 recorder players and at one stage joined with the string ensemble with 900 students performing at once.
Parents and students were surprised by the high level of performance delivered.
