Less than a month after Griffith premiership player Daniel Dowson was burnt in a workplace accident he returned to playing field.
Griffith thought they would be without one of their key men for the rest of the season after Dowson suffered burns to his face and arm but he made a swift comeback.
The Blacks were without Michael Stalley and Tino Keoa for the win over Ag College but both are expected to play Waratahs on Saturday.
