More than 500 birds are expected to flock to Wagga tomorrow for the bi-annual Wagga Poultry Club sale.
Poultry owners are going to bring birds from across the Riverina and Southern Highlands.
“There will an amazing diversity of birds of all size and colours,” organiser and club member John Tweddle said.
The sale will take place at the poultry pavilion at the Wagga showground from 9am to 11am.
Viewing of the birds is open from 9am to 10am with bidding from 10am to 11am.
The format of the sale is a Helmsman auction. A card is placed on every cage with a reserve price for bidders to writes their number and price they wish to pay. At 11am the auction ends and all winning bids are circled by a steward with money exchanged and the shed usually empty by around 12pm.
