A GRIFFITH man accused of stunning a woman with a cattle prod and spraying her in the face with capsicum spray has been refused bail by a magistrate.
Tristan Hodge, 31, is also accused of having a drug lab in a Nelson Drive house.
Hodge was arrested in a Griffith park on Monday, a day after a 21-year-old woman complained to police that she had been assaulted by him over the past month and had a firearm pointed at her.
The police chemical operations unit helped Griffith police search the Nelson Drive property after Hodge’s arrest.
Hodge is charged with four counts of using a prohibited weapon, two counts of intimidation, two counts of assault and one count of possessing drug manufacturing equipment.
He was refused bail in Leeton Local Court on Tuesday. The case was adjourned to Griffith Local Court on August 26.
