Becky Lucas is relatively new on the scene but knows what it takes to win a crowd over.
She is hoping that her observational comedy about her family and personal life will be enough to make Wagga laugh as she plays her first show in the city next week.
“If something funny happens, I just want to tell people about it,” she said.
“Stand-up comedy is the most time efficient way of doing that.”
Miss Lucas is just one of the number of reputable comedians that will be in Wagga for the Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase, including Tommy Dean, Jacques Barrett, Randy, Gearard McGeown, Tien Tran and Ivan Aristeguieta.
The Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase will be in Wagga on August 19 at the Civic Theatre.
