MOST pre-teen boys dream of living in a transformer filled world – but not many make them.
Sturt Public School students Seb Addison, 12, Aayan Banshar, 11, and Chinmay Scholapurkar, 11, brought the robotic world to life at an action packed Robo Day.
Kids from local schools packed Charles Sturt University to meet with lecturer Allen Benter.
The boys took out the RoboCup Junior cup and were thrilled to have the opportunity to build a robot, with antlers, that could navigate a track and avoid a chemical spill.
“It was hard to get the sensors right,” Seb said of the challenging task.
Chinmay loved the technical elements.
“(The best part was) programming the robot and learning about technical differences,” he said.
