FOOTBALL fans have thrown their support behind a player points system or salary cap for AFL Riverina’s senior competitions.
More than 160 people took part in an online poll on The Daily Advertiser’s website where the majority were all for the concept.
Some 69.5 per cent of readers voted yes to ‘Do the Riverina and Farrer Leagues need a salary cap or player points system?’, compared to the 30.5 per cent that voted no.
