Spate of car thefts
A 17-year-old L plate driver was arrested over a stolen vehicle and will face the children’s court in September.
Police allege the boy took the Toyota Corolla from Bardia Street, Ashmont and drove it to Moorong where it was found torched on a dirt road. The Corolla was one of four cars reported stolen in 24 hours.
Police are investigating thefts in Sunshine Avenue, Turvey Park; Bradley Street, Tolland and Copland Street, East Wagga.
