THE SCG Country Cup is set for a change in format with the end of funding from the SCG Trust.
The new look competition will have a Twenty 20 format with the possibility there will be three teams from Riverina, Cricket Albury-Wodonga, Murray Valley and Murrumbidgee.
The competition final also could be played as a curtain raiser to a Big Bash League match at the SCG.
The Country Shield and Country Plate competitions remain unchanged.
