GRIFFITH showed unbelievable accuracy in their 86-point win over Turvey Park on Saturday.
The Bulldogs gave Griffith a big scare earlier in the year but it was not to be this time as the Swans ran out comfortable winners, 22.2 (134) to 7.6 (48) at Exies Oval.
The Swans were extremely accurate and efficient going forward with 22 goals and just the two behinds.
Griffith coach Brandon Mathews said that was about the only highlight.
“That’s about all we’ll take out of it,” Mathews said.
“It wasn’t a spectacular performance.
“We were good in patches but we took our foot of the pedal which is a little bit disappointing.”
Mick Duncan was again a standout for Griffith and finished with six goals in a best-on-ground display.
Jono Gastin also bagged five, while Steve McCanna performed strongly in the ruck in his promotion to first grade.
The Swans were without Josh Hamilton after quarter time due to a leg injury.
