BARELLAN skipper, coach and player Will Overs may have played his final game of Australian Rules for the season.
Overs clashed with an opposition player’s knee, suffering a knock to the head in a contest on Saturday.
He lost consciousness and left without any memory of the incident.
Overs walked off the ground in the first quarter, rested on the bench and was taken by ambulance for assessment at Wagga Base Hospital.
Overs has a history of concussion, and undoubtedly will be advised to err on the side of caution in upcoming weeks.
Overs, a skilled, experienced player, will definitely be missed.
Overs scored Barellan’s first goal against North Wagga on Saturday.
The centre half forward worked to get in front of his man on Saturday resulting in possession and opportunities.
