LEETON-Whitton are outright ladder leaders after seeing off a strong challenge from Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong on Saturday.
The Crows moved to top spot on the table with a 23-point win over the Lions, 13.8 (86) to 9.9 (63) at Leeton Showground.
GGGM kicked the opening goal of the game but then were forced to wait until the 20 minute mark of the second term for their next as the Crows established a five-point lead at half-time.
The Lions hit the front in the third term but the Crows lifted and moved 17 points clear at the final change.
The Crows maintained their advantage for the final term with a goal to Cam Grigg after the final siren making it a 23-point margin.
Ben Curley returned to defence for the assignment on James Lawton and was outstanding for the Crows, as was Jayden Lehman on Curtis Steele.
Toby Conroy, Neil Irwin, Mitch Hardie and Lucas Meline were all others to shine in the Crows’ strong win.
