THE deal has not been done, but Southcity captain-coach Nick Skinner wants to stick with the Bulls in 2016.
Minutes after Southcity thumped Tumut 40-6 at Harris Park on Saturday, Skinner revealed he was keen to stick with the Wagga club.
“I’m hoping to get it (coaching job),” Skinner said.
“Things might happen soon.”
Signed this year to replace Daniel Fitzhenry after four years, Skinner is the perfect fit for Southcity – and an automatic choice.
Skinner showed his class and dominance as the Bulls ravaged the Blues on Saturday.
Southcity is believed to be close to securing two fresh New Zealand recruits for next year.
Both are associates of Bulls prop Jaye Pukepuke.
