Mitchell Aitken
Victorian apprentice Mitchell Aitken made a sensational debut at Murrumbidgee Turf Club on Friday winning in his first four races.
The 17-year-old has only been riding for the last two months but looks set to make waves in the industry.
He started the day off with victory aboard Mutual Trust to bring up career win number five, and they kept running for him.
He then steered home Eklands for Kevin Hanley before an all the way win on Saint Aquilina.
Aitken completed his perfect day as Leucura stormed home late in the last.
“It’s been a spectacular day,” Aitken said.
Aitken was able to claim four kilograms at the MTC but will now only be able to claim three.
