Gerard Saddler proposed to Madison McCormick on a path near a water canal in England during a time when the couple were living there.
The couple were married at Our Lady of Blessed Eucharist Church at San Isidore in front of 120 guests from Wagga and surrounding areas.
Guests enjoyed canapés, a main meal and dessert at the country rustic themed reception at the Wagga City Golf Club.
Madison, the youngest daughter of Patrick and Lorraine McCormick of Wagga, wore an Essence of Australia vintage gown with a lace sweetheart bodice and tulle skirt.
She carried a bouquet of baby’s breath and white roses with two small frames containing photos of her late sister and grandmother.
Madison was attended to by her bridesmaids Vanessa McCormick, Angela Hutchinson, Danielle Dawson, Emily Lees, Cassie McManus, Melanie Snell, Sophie Saddler and Gabrielle Blencowe who all wore Mr K chiffon dresses in midnight navy.
Gerard, the eldest son of Craig and Monique Saddler of San Isidore, was joined by Mitchell Bryon, Jacob Hogan, Cameron Saddler, Andrew Saddler, Dean Macintosh, Christopher McCormick, James Hutchinson and Brent Dawson.
Madison, an assistant in nursing, and Gerard, a plumber, honeymooned in Nusa Dua in Bali for a week before they returned to their newly-purchased home in Wagga.
