Gas leak in central Wagga
A gas leak caused disruption to lunch-time traffic on Tuesday.
A fire truck and HAZMAT crew were called to Rural Place, near Tarcutta Street about 12.15pm.
A NSW Fire and Rescue Turvey Park Brigade spokesman said they set up an exclusion zone while the line was isolated and fixed.
Seven people were evacuated from nearby buildings while crews fixed the broken 65mm natural gas line.
The area was declared safe about an hour after crews were called out.
