Gone are the days when cook books were passed down between generations.
Now, more and more people are turning to technology to help them cook their family’s favourite dishes.
Wagga grandmother Beryl Post started the Facebook page Wagga’s Family Recipes with her sister, Janice Manson, in 2013.
Mrs Post started the page six months after she suffered a stroke to give herself something to do and now the page has more than 101,600 members from all over the world.
Mrs Post regularly posts recipes and has plenty of residents submitting their favourite dishes for inclusion on her page.
“It was just something to fill in time and it’s just gone berserk,” she said.
Mrs Post said her family prefers to reads recipes from the laptop rather than traditional cook books.
