Wagga woman Pat O’Hara will lead the city’s first Motor Neurone Disease (MND) support meeting on Tuesday morning.
Ms O’Hara felt there were few places for people living with MND and their families to turn to when diagnosed.
She put the call out for people wanting a support network and found there was an "overwhelming” need for one.
The meeting will be held at the Commercial Club from 11am.
