
THE Tumbarumba community is mourning the death of Tim Robson, 24, who was killed in a two-car collision on Saturday.
Mr Robson and his 25-year-old passenger were travelling in a a Holden Commodore on Jingellic Road, Tumbarumba. At 5.15pm they performed U-turn near the intersection of Camden Park Road and collided with a Toyota Hilux.
Emergency services freed the two men, but Mr Robson died at the scene. The passenger was taken to Wagga Base Hospital with a broken leg.
The Hilux driver and his passenger, both 19, were treated for minor injuries.
Mr Robson’s Facebook page was flooded with tributes. Nicholas Kennewell was shocked by the news.
“Absolutely speechless … gonna be quiet round home without ya brother, gonna be missed champ, hope you’re resting easy.”
Bink Schmidt said “I miss u (sic) bud, there’s so much I owe u (sic), u (sic) were my rock when I had no faith. I love you mate, fly high. RIP until we meet again.”
