Man dies in Tumbarumba crash
A 24-year-old man is dead after a horror two-car collision in Tumbarumba yesterday.
The 24-year-old driver and his 25-year-old passenger were travelling in a Holden Commodore on Jingellic Road, Tumbarumba.
At 5.15pm they performed U-turn near the intersection of Camden Park Road and collided with a northbound Toyota Hilux.
Emergency services immediately attended the scene and freed the two men from the Holden but the driver died at the scene.
The passenger was taken to Wagga Base Hospital with a broken leg and numerous lacerations.
The 19-year-old driver of the Toyota Hilux and his 19-year-old female passenger were taken to Wagga Base Hospital with minor injuries.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
