When Marrar won the lion’s share of clearances on Saturday against Temora, Marrar coach Nic Casey praised midfielder Josh Hagar.
“We’ve got the best four players at stoppages in the comp,” Casey said.
“When you throw Josh Hagar in the mix, who’s the best clearance player in the competition, it’s a great luxury to have.”
Casey may have been particularly grateful because Hagar played for Temora in 2014 and in juniors.
