MARRAR player Clint Taylor’s legacy will live on according to Marrar coach Nic Casey.
Bryce Graetz, 21, a standout for Marrar on Saturday, has been assisting Taylor across half-back for the majority of this season.
Taylor, 31, was crowned as the Farrer League’s best and fairest player in 2013.
“Bryce has had the luxury of being able to learn off the best centre half back in the district, Clint Taylor, for all these years,” Casey said.
“He’s really stepping into being the next Clint Taylor.”
So what makes Graetz such an asset?
“He’s the same as Clint, he knows when to zone off and make the next contest, he knows when to drop off his man, and he’ll only do it when he can impact the next contest,” Casey said.
