Are you looking for a way to get that warm and fuzzy feeling during winter?
Wagga businesswoman Samantha Brunskill has organised a soup kitchen to raise money for bipolar research.
The pop-up shop will be serving steaming hot lunches at the Civic Centre near the theatre from 11am to 2pm on Thursdays and Fridays for the next four weeks.
Mental health campaigner Ms Brunskill is hoping to raise $10,000 and said she wanted the event to encourage people to talk about mental health in a casual space.
“It’s a place for people to come and ask questions in a non-threatening environment,” Ms Brunskill said.
Sunflower House and headspace information will be available at the pop-up kitchen. The cost for a cup of soup will be $5.
