WORK on the long-awaited expansion of the Wagga Marketplace has begun.
Workers have started building a site office for the building company in the underground car park to use for the duration of the build – the site office occupies some of the centre’s car parking.
The $30 million redevelopment is slated for completion in 2016.
It’s the first major works undertaken by owners Industry Supperannuation Property Trust (IPST) since they bought the centre in 2006.
