Southcity enforcer Jaye Pukepuke has come into the Riverina representative team following Albury prop Andrew Cowhan’s toe injury forced him out of Saturday’s clash with South Coast.
Cowhan has had big left toe operated on after a motorbike accident over the weekend and is expected to miss at least two games.
It’s the only change from the team who defeated Northern Rivers two weeks ago.
Coach Josh Cale believes the Bulls prop adds plenty of experience to the team.
“He’s played NZ Maoris, played Auckland Vulcans and a lot of rep football,” Cale said. “I think his experience will be great for such a young team.”
Pukepuke is expected to come onto the bench, with Dave Cowhan to start.
