POLICE, paramedics and the Volunteer Rescue Association jumped into action after a woman fell onto rocks from the levee bank off Tarcutta Street about 3pm on Wednesday.
NSW Ambulance Services Riverina Zone Manager Eamonn Purcell said the 47-year-old woman was talking on her mobile phone when she lost her footing. She used her phone to call triple-0.
The woman was treated for suspected spinal injuries before being taken to Wagga Base hospital in a stable condition.
