It is amore at first sight for members of the Country Women’s Association (CWA) who have been immersed in Italian culture.
The organisation focuses on a country of study each year and 2015 is the year for all things Italian.
Months of study will culminate in an Italian feast at the RSL Club tonight.
Evening Branch secretary Norma Judd has learned things about Italy she never knew.
“I didn’t realise how many towns and villages have ancient art in their churches,” she said.
“You also don’t realise how many different provinces there are in Italy.
“For most people, it’s about learning about another way of life.”
CWA members and guests will eat an Italian dinner and dessert before Italian biscuit and coffee.
