COOTAMUNDRA co-coach Aaron Byrne is expecting to find just where his team is at taking on Gundagai at Anzac Park on Sunday.
The Bulldogs have won two of its three games this season, but are yet to play consistent football.
“They are obviously the benchmark so far this season and with some up and down performances it will good to see where we actually at,” Byrne said.
“We should know on Sunday afternoon if we are pretending at the moment or going to be somewhere around the mark.”
Pushing Albury in round one, the Bulldogs struggled to overcome Brothers in round two before the bye and a big win over Temora last week.
Byrne hopes the win over the Dragons will be a positive step for the club.
“Consistency is a bit of a problem, but hopefully we turned a bit of a corner last weekend,” he said.
Cootamundra come into the clash unchanged and don’t have any players in Friday’s Kelly Cup game while Vincent Brown, Cameron Woo, James Luff and Phil Latu will all be on the back up for Gundagai.
