A YOUNG girl has been hit by a trail bike at Jubilee Park, Wagga.
One young male, believed to be aged 17, has been arrested over the incident and is assisting police with inquiries.
Multiple police officers attended the Red Hill Road after reports of the incident at about 11.55pm.
A crime scene has since been established.
Duty officer Inspector Peter Robertson said police believed an altercation broke out between the young man’s family and the injured child’s family.
The injured girl, believed to be aged 11, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital by ambulance.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
