With a record number of award categories and close to 300 people attending, Friday night’s Crow Awards are set to be the biggest in the event’s 25-year history.
Wagga Business Chamber manager Michelle Bray said the hype around this year's awards, to be held at the Wagga RSL, had been feverish.
“It’s pretty much the biggest Crow Awards yet,” she said.
“The support for the chamber this year has been phenomenal – we’ve sold out the Crow Awards and … we’ve put on 100 new members in the last nine months.”
The business sector’s best and brightest will have their eye on the prestigious Crow Award at the end of the night – awarded to the city’s stand-out operators.
Last year’s top gong was taken out by the team at the International Hotel Wagga.
